Defence section

The Defence Adviser is responsible for all aspects of the defence relationship between the UK and Jamaica. However, the office does not handle recruitment to the UK armed forces.

You are requested to note that the cost of all travel to and from the UK for the conducting of application interviews, tests and medicals are to be borne by the applicants themselves. The Ministry of Defence will not refund the cost of airfares. This also applies to the cost of the return journey home resulting from any failed application. Applicants should, therefore, have already sent their written CV and received a positive response from the service sponsor before travelling to the UK. Entry clearance from the Immigration Section will also be required.
